The Grapes of Wrath ~ Thanks C2

Ok ..... this is my TaTtOoeeeee...lol... I got this 13 years ago today..... Holy Makerel has time FLOWN by , it was a "Treat" to myself for my 25th Birthday ..... It was an hour of PAIN is what it was ....but oddly enough after it was done I wanted another one ....lol... one could say I am a sucker for punishment !! but I have not inked my body since then, I have considered it but I also at times have considered getting it removed ... I hear the pain from that is worse than getting it put on ...

I picked the dagger to symbolise all the times I had been stabbed in the heart up to that point in my life..... a little mellow dramatic I guess but true non the less and guess what the FUN hasn't stopped yet !! ;)

Maybe tommorow I will show this in it's natural color.... Yes , No, Maybe So !?! ~or~ maybe I will spare you all of the pain of wanting to gouge your eyes out !! LOL

Hmm, this is something I have never done to myself (or for myself). Guess it's the age factor and negative image tattooed folk used to have. No more; tattooed people are mainstream and they are accepted at all levels of society.

But y'know what, as you said -- "an hour of pain." Why would I want that? Plus there's the horror of seeing the tattoo morph into a big blob of blue pigmented blemish on my skin as I age.

But regardless, thanks for sharing your pain -- and the image of it (literal and figurative). It's actually pretty cool, and if I were a younger man I still might be tempted... ;)

Happy Birthday, Rob. It's not bad to be 38. It's not bad to be 58. It's just a number. The cool thing is that as we age up, we can also wise up a bit with all the different life experiences that come along. Have a great day celebrating your seniority.

I like it! With the vines and the grapes around the blade handle. I keep on thinking of "treating" myself to a tattoo, except there's sooooo many choices, I can't make up my mind!!! (Not to mention the pain!!) BTW~~~
